There's an old saying, “A week is a long time in politics.”
If a week is a long time, then a year and five weeks is an eternity.
That's how long it's been since Kevin Falcon's BC United party were second place in the polls in BC.
Since then, the upstart Conservative Party of BC, led by ousted BC United/BC Liberal MLA John Rustad, has dominated second place.
What’s even more remarkable about this dramatic shift is that in three polls from the last year, Rustad's Conservatives managed to inch ahead of David Eby's NDP.
